Blues In The South and UK Jazz Radio are delighted to announce a collaborative competition for a pair of tickets to the New Brunswick Battle of the Blues Bands final, to be held at the 100 Club, 100 Oxford Street, London on Tuesday 29th March 2011. The winner will be the person who answers correctly two questions and (in the event of a tie) provides the best (in 20 words or fewer) indication of why he or she wants to go to the final. YOU MUST ANSWER BOTH QUESTIONS. The first question of the two questions was announced on Ian McHugh's blues radio show, Blues Is The Truth on UK Jazz Radio on Monday 7th February 2011 and will be announced again on subsequent shows up to the deadline date. The show is broadcast on the Internet from 9pm-11pm, and there are many repeats throughout the week (see http://www.ukjazzradio.com/schedules.html) as well as a Listen Again facility at http://www.ukjazzradio.com/ListenAgain.html (look for Ian McHugh) The second question is to be found on the BiTS web site CLICK HERE and will be announced on editions of Ian McKenzies radio show, Wednesdays Even Worse on Phonic FM (www.phonic.fm) (6pm-8pm) on Wednewsday 9, 23 Feb and 9th March 2011. Each contestant must also write a tie-breaker; a piece of text (in fewer than 20 words) saying why he or she wants to go to the final. Your answers to the questions and your text must be submitted by email to comp@bluesinthesouth.com by midnight on Sunday 20 March. The winner will be announced on the Blues In the South web site, on the new BITS Blog (newsbluesinthesouth.blogspot.com ) and on Ian McKenzies Phonic FM blues show on 23rd March 2011. The
